A CoLab is a shared workspace you shape around whatever you're managing: a parent's health, a recovery after surgery, household expenses, or prep for a single appointment. Some CoLabs live for years, others for a week. Both are fine.
Inside a CoLab, documents, notes, photos, and links are organized into folders, the same mental model your family already uses. Nest folders to match how you think, drag and drop to reorganize, and find things again without hunting through a chat thread.
Collaboration is the point
Plenty of apps can organize files or summarize documents. The hard part of caregiving is doing it together, when one person quietly carries most of the work and everyone else can't see it. This is where Care Colab doubles down.
Tasks make the work visible
Assign tasks to family members, track what's open and what's done, and filter by person. When effort is visible, it's easier to share and harder to quietly resent.

Capture things in seconds
Most caregiving moments don't happen at a desk. Snap a photo of discharge instructions and the text is extracted for you, drop in a PDF, paste from your clipboard, or dictate a note out loud on the way to the car.
For the hardest days there are one-tap notes for common moments like a fall, a headache, or a bad night's sleep, and a pain drawing tool for symptoms that are hard to put into words.
One note can be pinned to the top, so the thing everyone needs first is the thing everyone sees first. Families use it for a fact sheet, emergency contacts, or the handover details a sibling needs before they take over for the weekend.
Summaries, when you want them
When a CoLab fills up with information, AI summaries distill it into something you can actually use. You don't have to organize anything first. Capture freely, then let the summary do the sorting.

Generate a health overview to hand off to a new caregiver, or an appointment prep sheet that gathers recent changes, open questions, and what to ask the doctor, all pulled from what's already in the CoLab.
Or build one around what matters to you
Custom templates pull out only the details you care about. Dump weeks of scattered notes into a CoLab, then ask for just the medications mentioned, ready to share with a nurse or a visiting caregiver. Everything else stays out of the way.
Summaries are fully editable, copyable section by section, and exportable as a PDF for the waiting room. AI is always optional, and your data is never used to train models.
A calendar the whole family can follow
Appointments, task due dates, and dated notes come together in one agenda, per CoLab or across everything you're part of. Family members can follow along inside Care Colab or subscribe from Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook, so the plan shows up where they already look.
Private by default
Care information is deeply personal. CoLabs are private until you choose to share them, shared links are PIN protected with brute-force lockouts, and permissions are enforced at the database level. Data is stored in Canada, and you can delete a CoLab, or your whole account, whenever you like.
